Most patients can return to normal activities within a few days. Post-procedure instructions will be provided to ensure optimal healing. However patients are advised to avoid
- heavy exercises that can sweat
- sea baths and swimming pools
- wearing helmets
- direct sun exposure
for the first 21 days after the surgery.
First head wash and bandage removal will be done on the 3rd day after the surgery and most of the patients return back to their work by around 4th or 5th day provided that they avoid the above mentioned activities.
New hair growth typically starts within 2-4 weeks, with full results visible in 6-12 months.
